Engineers at UC Berkeley mechanically raised and integrated the primary detector assembly for NASA's Compton Spectrometer and Imager (COSI). The hardware configuration includes four protective silver covers housing flex circuits designed to transfer raw electrical signals from the detectors to the instrument's readout electronics. No astronomical targets were observed or celestial gamma-ray photons measured during this ground-based assembly phase.

This milestone represents bench-level hardware integration and does not signify an active space mission or new astrophysical data. The instrument has not yet undergone full flight qualification, launch, or on-orbit calibration.
